Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form the agreement between you and ViroLinks (“ViroLinks”, “we”) for the ViroLinks website, customer portal, NFC cards, QR codes and business pages (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or claiming a business you confirm you have read and accept them.

1. The Service

ViroLinks lets a business publish a mobile page with links and buttons, collect star ratings and private feedback from visitors, direct happy visitors to write a public Google review, and view usage analytics. Pages are opened through NFC cards, QR codes or a web link.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be authorised to act for the business you set up or claim.
• Where ViroLinks staff create a business for you, you become its Owner only when you accept these Terms and claim it yourself; nobody can accept them on your behalf.
• Owners can invite Managers. You are responsible for the people you give access to.

3. Your content and conduct

You own the content you add (text, images, links). You grant us a licence to host and display it as part of the Service. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful content, misuse the Service, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it. We may suspend a page that breaches these Terms.

4. Reviews and third-party platforms

The Service can send visitors to Google. You are solely responsible for using it in line with Google’s policies and applicable law, including rules about how reviews may be requested. We do not write, edit, buy or guarantee reviews and we cannot see whether a review was actually posted.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are handled by Stripe and we do not store your full card details.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms.

7. Liability

Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, the Service is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms or unpaid fees. On ending, your public page stops working and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
